Duomo di Milano. Milan is one of the fashion capitals of the world. Therefore, the city has plenty of designer stores. Besides the fashion stores, there is a spectacular cathedral, Duomo di Milano. Regardless of your religious practices or preferences, this a must-visit place in the city. The inside of the church amazing, like most Catholic cathedrals, but the roof-top is at a whole different level. On the roof, you will see a myriad of beautiful details. The only bad thing is that there is a lot of pickpocketing at Plaza di Duomo. Here are some interesting facts about the cathedral:

It’s dedicated to St. Mary of the Nativity. This gothic cathedral is one of the biggest Catholic churches in the world. Actually, it is the fifth-largest church. It has a surface of 109,641 square feet. The church has 3,400 statues, 135 gargoyles, and 700 figures. It took about 600 years to build.
