Before leaving to Hurghada, we had one last activity to do in Luxor: a hot air balloon ride. The driver from the hot air balloon company picked us up at 3 a.m. On the way to the place, he picked up more travelers. Then, he took us to a pier from which we boarded a small boat to cross to the western bank of the Nile.
When we got to the place, they had the balloon almost ready to be boarded. The ride on the balloon was fantastic. The sights that we saw were breathtaking. The sunset was amazingly beautiful. We were able to see the line between the desert and the crop fields. Since it was a hot morning, we saw farmers sleeping outside of their houses. That impressed me. After about a two-and-a-half-hour ride, we land in the middle of the fields. The landing was smoother than expected. Here are some pictures.
