Egypt an Unforgettable Trip

When I said that I was going to Egypt, no one believed it. People believe everything that they see on TV, so they thought that I was going to get kidnapped as soon as I arrive.

It did not concern me what people said about that country. Since my budget was limited, we started planning 11 months before the trip. The first thing that my friends and I did was to look for a good tour company. I usually don’t use tour companies to travel, but we want the trip to be smooth as possible.

I choose http://www.memphistours.com. It was a great choice; the Memphis staff was super professional and knowledgeable.

The Memphis Tours staff waited for us before the immigration booth, which made our trip smoother. After a 40-minute drive from Cairo airport, we arrived at the hotel, Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa. The hotel was fantastic, and we were able to see the pyramid from the pool. Also, every night, we had the opportunity to see how Egyptians celebrate weddings.

First day of visits.

After having an excellent breakfast, we head to the pyramids that were only a few minutes away.

There are not enough words to describe the pyramids.

Adel Mohamed, our tour guide, had answers for all of our question despite that Jose Carlos said that the pyramids were build by the aliens.

Those pyramids are one of the most amazing things that I have seen in my life. When you go there, you come back with more questions than answers. You cannot pictures how they build those monuments without using the tools that we have today.

We went to a nearby area and rode the camels; by the way, they stunk.

Then, we went to the Sphinx. It is beautiful, but not as much as the Pyramids.

Then, we went to Memphis. Memphis was the first capital city that humanity knows. The most impressive thing in Memphis was the Ramses II statue.

The last stop for the day was the Sakkara Complex. There, we had the chance to see the first pyramid ever build, the Djoser Pyramid. Furthermore, we have the opportunity to enter one of the pyramids for free.

At the end of the afternoon, we had lunch at a local restaurant. The food was delicious.
